Price Shumate is a Junior Client Services Associate for Marotta Wealth Management.

Price is a lifelong Hokie who was both raised in Blacksburg, Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech, earning his B.S. in Financial Planning and Wealth Management in May of 2026. During his time at Virginia Tech, Price was an active member in the Virginia Tech collegiate chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). In addition to his studies, he carried three jobs, working at the Virginia Tech Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Virginia Tech Office of Sponsored Programs, and Dogwood Residential. After graduating, he moved to Charlottesville, Virginia and joined Marotta Wealth Management in June 2026.

In his free time, Price enjoys cooking, hiking, supporting the Carolina Panthers, building LEGOs, and playing with his bunny Juice.
